Chariot Class – Federation Starship – color views

Rounding out the posts on the Chariot Class starship are these incredible CGI renders. Sadly, I do not know who created these. If anyone does, please let me know so I can update this accordingly. This model is simply superb.

This design is more true to the Atolm sketch, and Jim Morvay’s first set of schematics. There are some noticeable differences, espcially in the command section of the primary hull. Alos the overall detailing has it fitting into the design principles of the Nemesis time-period.

  1. You might want to John Eaves’ “Eavesdropping” blog for March 18, 2011. It features Ryan Dening’s “Excalibur design from the Star Trek Online game, which bears an interesting (if rather serpentine) resemblance to the “Chariot.”

  2. This has to be one of my favourite designs, by far.

If I were to Captain a Starfleet vessel, this would be it!

I hope Paramount Pictures decides this to be in one of the franchise movies, or rekindle the series.

The Excalibur from John Eaves site was at the top of my list, but no longer 😉
