Designed by Mark Rademaker, the Vesta Class starship, here the U.S.S. Aventine, appeared in one of the Ships of the Line Calendars a couple of years ago. We have here a side and top profile, as well as a the image that appeared in the calendar itself.
Rounding out the posts on the Chariot Class starship are these incredible CGI renders. Sadly, I do not know who created these. If anyone does, please let me know so I can update this accordingly. This model is simply superb.
This design is more true to the Atolm sketch, and Jim Morvay’s first set of schematics. There are some noticeable differences, espcially in the command section of the primary hull. Alos the overall detailing has it fitting into the design principles of the Nemesis time-period.
Today we bring you Jim Morvay’s second take on the ATOLM’s Chariot Class starship. This one shows heavy modifications, mostly offensive and defensive. It even has a docking port on the underside of the Primary hull for a Defiant Class starship. This a more aggressive starship than the previous design.
I’m sorry about the quality of the thumbnails. This same issue occured with the previous post. Click on them to get a tru view of what this ship looks like.
What we have for you today is a real treat. For those who have viewed the recent post displaying a few of my favorite conceptual designs by ATOLM, you should recognize this beauty: the Chariot Class Federation Starship. These schematics were created by Jim Morvay with some slight alterations from the original sketch. This is actually the 1st set of two variations on the design. I prefer this one, as it feels more like an exploration cruiser compared to what will appear in the next post.
(The thumbnails for some reason look horrible here. Click on them to view the full-size image. Trust me, its worth it.)
Since timetravel has become an integral part of storytelling within the Star Trek universe, someone decided that Starfleet needed starship designed specifically for this purpose. And so I bring you today the U.S.S. Lynx, NCC -4600. Designed to fit within the original cast movie-era, warp capable despite the lack of warp nacelles, the Lynx Class is the Federation’s first dedicated timeship.
Here is another non-canon starship found long ago, the Joshua Class Federation Starship. This looks like an Undiscovered Country-era version of the old Saladin Class, based on the similarities between it’s warp nacelle and that of the Excelsior Class. Included here is an internal diagram as well as a bridge layout.
Straying from canon for a bit, we bring you the Oppenheimer Class Federation Starship. This is an older design created by Jim Morvay. She is a sister class to the Excelsior. These are the only 2 views I have ever found.
