The Advanced Heavy Cruiser [T6] comes equipped with the Tactical Maneuvering Matrix universal console. The Tactical Maneuvering Matrix makes an Advanced Heavy Cruiser even more durable and maneuverable. When activated, Pursuit Mode uses complex predictive algorithms and specialized inertia-less maneuvering thrusters to improve the ship’s Speed, Turn Rate, and Damage Resistance, and the amount increases with the number of enemies in combat range. Additionally, your directed energy weapons will cripple your target’s engines and maneuvering thrusters for a short time. This will dramatically reduce their turn rate and speed.

This console provides a passive bonus to turn rate, speed, and damage resistance.

This Console Mod can be equipped only on Advanced Heavy Cruisers, in any console slot. You may only equip one of these mods.

Improved Weaponized Emitters (Starship Trait)

Upon achieving level 5 in the Advanced Heavy Cruiser [T6]’s starship mastery, you will unlock the Improved Weaponized Emitters starship trait. While this trait is slotted your Aceton Beam and Overwhelm Emitters abilities cause radiation damage over time to enemies within 3km of the target.

This new heavy escort has been built from the ground up to most efficiently combat the Iconian threat. This starship features a Lieutenant Commander Engineering/Pilot specialist seat. Console – Universal – Enhanced Dynamic Tactical System

The Heavy Destroyer is similar to an Escort, but has many qualities of Light Cruisers and Science Vessels. While in its innate Regenerative Mode, excess power is transferred to the Auxiliary System and you gain a bonus to Starship Shield Systems. It comes equipped with a prototype Enhanced Dynamic Tactical System console (or EDTS). This console allows you to transform your ship between Regenerative Mode and Tactical Mode.

In Regenerative Mode, your Tachyon Inversion Beam is enabled, which can siphon shields from multiple targets. Activating Tactical Mode transfers power to your Weapon Systems, and increases your ships Starship Targeting Systems skill, granting an Accuracy bonus. In Tactical Mode, the EDTS console enables a powerful multi-targeting lotus, which is capable of piercing multiple targets. However, while in Tactical Mode, your Starship Shield Systems bonus, Auxiliary Power bonus and Tachyon Inversion Beam are disabled.

This console also provides a passive bonus to Critical Severity and Hull Hit Points.

This unique station mod may only be equipped on Heavy Destroyers, but may be equipped in any of their console mod slots.

After reaching level 5 in your Heavy Destroyer’s Starship Mastery, you will unlock the Weapon System Synergy trait. While this trait is slotted, each time a directed energy weapon is activated on your ship, you will shunt a small amount of power to your projectile emitters. This is represented by building up stacks of Weapon System Synergy. Upon reaching 10 stacks, your projectile weapons will become primed and deal additional damage and shield bleedthrough for several seconds. After this expires there is a short lockout window before you can begin building up Weapon System Synergy stacks again.

Experimental shielding technology has taken a turn towards offensive weaponry, allowing this device to generate a local field that damages the molecular bonds of matter in a short radius. The Molecular Cohesion Nullifier Field will also protect the user from all sources of damage while active. Both the damage and damage resistance effects will resonate at more powerful frequencies, based on how many foes are within the affected area. In addition, while equipped, this console also provides a passive bonus to max sub-system power levels.

Patrol Escort Refit: Tempest Class


The Patrol Escorts were envisioned as escorts with an engineering bent. The Patrol Escort Refit: Tempest Class improves on those original designs with greatly improved Bridge Officer seating, a 5th Tactical Console slot, and additional aft firepower that will give Tempest captains new options in combat.

The Tempest comes equipped with a Nadion Saturation Bomb console. Firing the Nadion Saturation Bomb lays down a string of explosive fire that strafes between the ship and its target and then continues to detonate past the target. Any enemy ships caught in the explosions will take severe damage. After detonation, an intense Nadion Radiation Field lingers in space, creating a deadly hazard for enemies. The Nadion Saturation Bomb console may be equipped in any console slot of any Patrol Escort.

The Patrol Escort Refit: Tempest Class also comes with the Aft-Firing Tempest Tail Gun. This unique dual cannon is set up to fire on targets in the rear 90 degree arc of the Patrol Escort, and defaults to the Rapid Fire I firing mode. Like other cannons, the Aft-Firing Tempest Tail Gun can be modified by Scatter Volley and higher rank Rapid Fire bridge officer abilities. The Aft-Firing Tempest Tail Gun is fused to its own slot and does not fill one of the ships three aft weapons slots. It cannot be removed.*

The Patrol Escort Refit comes with the new Tempest class costume by default. As a Patrol Escort, it can also use costume parts from the Dervish, Gryphon and Hermes class costumes. If you have already unlocked the Maelstrom costume, it will also be available to you. Purchasing the Patrol Escort Refit: Tempest Class will unlock the Tempest costume for all Patrol Escorts.

Star Trek Online – Avenger Class Battle Cruiser

The Avenger Class Battle Cruiser’s design aims to provide a durable warship that is more maneuverable than Starfleet’s existing cruisers, and can carry a devastating amount of firepower. However, it does sacrifice a measure of hull strength for this extra maneuverability. There is nothing subtle about this starship class. The Avenger’s aggressive silhouette and available firepower makes it a formidable and intimidating presence in any battle.

The Avenger’s size is much closer to a Klingon Battle Cruiser than a standard Starfleet Cruiser. This is largely due to the fact that the starship was designed by the Starfleet Engineering Corps to compete with the smaller, more agile vessels Starfleet is facing in battle. The Avenger class is also the first cruiser in Starfleet to be equipped with an Advanced Cruiser Communications Array.

Ships with Advanced Cruiser Communication Arrays provide the starship’s captain with three Command abilities that bestow benefits to both the captain’s starship and nearby allies.

Variable Auto-Targeting Armament (V.A.T.A.)

The Variable Auto-Targeting Armament is a very versatile weapon designed specifically for the Avenger Battle Cruiser. This overwhelming weapon fires a pair of Auto-Targeting Armament Projectiles that travel toward your designated target. Every few seconds, these projectiles will fire weapons (either torpedoes or a tachyon beam) at a random foe within 10 km. This highly versatile weapon system will function differently depending upon which Cruiser Command you currently active (it’s not influenced by other active commands you may be in range of), and can also be equipped on the Fleet version if you own it. It has a cooldown of 2 minutes.

While the Shield Frequency Modulation cruiser command is active, the V.A.T.A. will fire a pair Tachyon Armament Projectiles. These projectiles fire Tachyon beams at a nearby target every second that damage the target’s shield facings. Upon impact, the Tachyon Armament Projectiles will detonate, dealing high kinetic damage and high shield damage in a 1.5 km radius. Foes affected by the blast will also have their shield hardness reduced for a short time.

 

While the Strategic Maneuvering cruiser command is active, the V.A.T.A. will fire a pair of Chroniton Armament Projectiles. These projectiles launch Micro Chroniton Torpedoes at a nearby target every second that deal minor kinetic damage and have a chance to reduce the target’s movement speed and turn rate. Upon impact, the Chroniton Armament Projectiles will detonate, dealing high kinetic damage. Foes affected by the explosion will also have their speed and turn rate reduced for a short time.

 

While the Weapon System Efficiency cruiser command is active, or no cruiser commands are active, the V.A.T.A. will fire a pair of Quantum Armament Projectiles. These projectiles launch Micro Quantum Torpedoes at a nearby target every second. Upon impact, the Quantum Armament Projectiles will detonate, dealing very high kinetic damage. The Quantum Armament Projectiles and its Micro Torpedoes lack any secondary effects, but deal significantly more damage.

 

The Avenger Class Battle Cruiser can equip the Cloaking Device console that comes equipped on both the Dreadnaught Cruiser and Tactical Escort Retrofit. The starship was built to support key systems that would allow it emulate Klingon Battle Cruisers.
